So let’s talk about dresses!

There’s so many styles of wedding dresses out there: A-line, the classic princess Ballgown, Mermaid, Sheath/Slim, Fit & Flare… and the list goes on!

In this post, we’d like to chat about two very popular styles that we have in our studio: A-line and Mermaid! (^^♪
Which do you like more?

Mermaid

The mermaid silhoutte is form-fitting and elegant, beautifully accentuating your curves. Because it fits snugly from the top down to the knees before flaring out, it gives the appearance and silhouette of a mermaid.

Dress No. 52 is an elegant off-shoulder satin dress. As it is an off-shoulder dress, it perfectly highlights your collarbones. The satin and fit also gives it an elegantly clean look, and the bell sleeves that rest above your elbows add to the stylish vibes.

Dress No. 56 is a modest but still sexy lace dress. The neckline is covered with embroidered lace for brides who are a little unsure of their bust area. But turn around and find a sexy, yet still modest low back! As it is a satin dress with a lace overlay, it is very forgiving with any bumps you may be unsure of, and the large flare past your knees gives it a dramatic silhouette.

A-Line

The A-line style is easily one of the most popular silhouettes in bridal these days, especially in Japan! True to their name, they give you a gentle A-shaped silhouette that suits a wide range of body types, fitting to your curves up top before flaring out from the waist.

Dress No. 69 is an off-shoulder satin dress that shows off the shoulders and collarbones. With gathers around the bust area, it can help you accentuate all your curves. The back is an adorably large ribbon that adds a cute and princess-like touch.

Dress No. 80 is one of our newest dresses! It is a crepe dress with a romantic bohemian texture. With the unique textured design and sweetheart neckline, it’s sure to add a dreamy feel to you and your photos ♡ There are optional puff sleeves that you can attach, further adding to the unique dreamy feel.

We have no shortage of A-Line dresses in our huge client closet, so feel free to browse and pick what you like! You can also try on dresses on the day and choose your favorite, or add on dresses to your shoot!

And if you can’t choose, our Custom Made package allows you to choose two dresses for your whole day shoot, or you can simply add a second dress to any of our photoshoot packages.
